Effaclar Purifying Cleanser Gel

Ini botol k-3 aku pakai La Roche-Posay series Effaclar. Series ini memang khusus untuk kulit cenderung berminyak dan berjerawat. Teksturnya sendiri gel, yang akan berubah foamy setelah terkena air.Setelah pakai ini, yang aku rasakan itu BERSIH! aku soalnya ga suka sabun wajah yang pas udah dibilas terus masih kaya ada feel oily2 gitu. Nah ini tuh bersih tapi ga bikin kering sama sekali. Acne jaraaang sekali muncul( kecuali pas PMS ya). Aku pakai ini AM only, dan sebagai second cleanser yaaa.

This was one of the first cleansers that I tried in the beginning of my skin care journey. Having a combination-oily acne-prone skin, this cleanser is one that has been widely recommended until today. Not to mention, La Roche-Posay has been such a reputable brand that is highly recommended for many skin issues (especially for sensitive skin). Having learned about their product ranges, the Effaclar range becomes the one that is tailored for my skin type. Therefore, I first decided to get their Anti-Acne Starter Kit which consists of this Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser (in 50mL) and their iconic Effaclar Duo (+) in 15mL. I got the set via Tokopedia (at a fair price) as I wanted to introduce myself to the brand before deciding to get their full size products. This cleanser left a good first impression to me as it was one of the best that I had come across at that time (before I learned and discovered more about skin care). Therefore, I decided to get the full size bottle (400mL) via my friend in Australia. Having gotten it from Chemist Warehouse, I definitely got a great deal (since La Roche-Posay had not had their Official Store in Indonesia and prices there are always below RRP). One thing that I would like to point out about this cleanser right away is that a little really goes a long way. I was surprised by how a bottle lasted me the whole year (just like its PAO)—making it very economical. A little pea size is truly sufficient for every cleanse as it foams up nicely. The 400mL bottle was also in a pump format, which I always prefer more than tubes. Despite having a blue hue, the bottle was still quite see-through (another good thing). The gel texture is nice and light (quite runny), which then foams up and lathers a lot. This cleanser also has fragrance at the very bottom of the ingredient list which is consistent among their Effaclar range. Do not worry since it does not smell overwhelming at all, rather likable to me. Overall, cleansing with this felt light and although it really foamed up, it did not leave my skin feeling really dry or stripped. I think this is indeed good for oily acne-prone skin, just as the brand suggests. However, this cleanser did not really shine to me in any particular way. While I did not have any particular problem with the cleanser, it also did not give out any significant merit for me. Therefore, I did not decide to repurchase as soon as it ran out. Aside from wanting to try other cleansers, I also did not completely love the ingredient list of this cleanser. This cleanser has Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) as its surfactant and although it did not dry or strip my skin out, I just personally chose to go with gentler surfactants as I then had learned more about ingredients. Although this cleanser belongs to their Effaclar range (most sought after by ones dealing with acne), I would say that this cleanser does not specifically give out any significant treatment or effect towards acne. Therefore, I would not really expect this cleanser to combat acne, yet rather to maintain and be friendly to the skin. After all, this cleanser is not really formulated with acne-treating ingredients anyways—just a simple cleansing formula. This is still overall a good all-rounder; no frills cleanser for oily acne-prone skin, as well as sensitive skin. One of the better ones among drugstore cleansers, but not really the best one that I would keep in my arsenal. By the way, La Roche-Posay has finally made their way to Indonesia! Their best-selling products (not all, but considerably a great range of offerings) are now more accessible via several e-commerce sites at a fair pricing (also with great promotions).

Enak banget, teksturnya gel bening, ada fragrance tp ga begitu strong, malah enak banget wanginya. Tiap habis cuci muka pakai ini berasa bersih bgt, dan ga bikin ketarik sama sekali. Ajaibnya beneran ngeringin jerawat2 yang ada matanya. Mantab dehh

Percaya ga aku diresepin ini sama Dr. Roni Aldiano Sp.KK di Halodoc 🤣 aku kira aku bakal diresepin cetaphil ternyata diresepinnya la roche posay karena dokter tau kulitku berminyak dan berjerawat. Teksturnya gel bening dan berbusa lumayan. Wanginya enak banget parah wangi air gitu (?) pokoknya wangi mahal luxurious 🥲 idk how to describe. Pas dibilas kulit jadi halus seger kalo ngefek ke jerawat atau ngga ya gimana ya aku jadi jarang jerawatan karena pakai ini atau papulex mungkin. Seneng aja sih nemu dokter yang bagus dan skincare yang diresepinnya juga cocok semua 🥳

ini bagus yaaa. cuma di aku bikin bruntusan dan baru sadar setelah pakai 1 taon an. pdhl dy bikin jerwat kalem yaa jdi bersih. tpi muncul bruntusan yg klo muka qta kena sinar nmpk gak mulus muka. permukaan wajah jdi gak halus. padahl berharap bnyk sma ini cleanser 😭

HEY INI PRODUCT YANG AKU GAA TAU AKU UDH REPURCHASE BRPPP BANYAKK (dan yang aku repurchase rata” yang 400 ml smuaa jadi bayangin kan seberapa aku cintanya sama nih FW) nahh aku sempat stop make ini sih slama 4 bulan? karena aku pengencoba fw cer*ve yang di rekomendasiin ama sih hyram! emang lebih gentle sih fw itu tapi sih laroche posay ini emang lebih enak ajaa. kalau make rasanya lebih bersihh!! OIYAAA and aku mau cerita, this is my first cleanser everr (udah pakai 3 tahun deh kayaknya ?)dan setelah make sih cer*ve kan aku balik lagi tuh ke sih laroche ini, NAHH AKU MULAI RASA PERBEDAAN!! kok waktu makai sih laroche ini malah ada rasa ketarik yaa NAH DISITU AKU SADARR kalau cer*ve itu emang se gentle itu, tapi WATEVERRRR I PREFER LAROCHE karena kayak lebih bersih ajaa (dia ada SLSnya sih jdi no wonder 💁‍♀️)menurut aku buat kalian yg udh terbiasa make fw yg gentle banget mngkin kalau kalian coba product ini untuk pertama kalinya mungkin bakal ngerasain sdikit rasa kertarik kalau make fw ini. tapi jujur kalau make ini YES EMANG RASANYA KEK TUH MUKA BERSIH BANGET 😭😭. luvv this product. no 1 fw dehh!!

Jadi aku emg lg cri facial wash utk kulit berminyak dan direkomendasikan sama dermatologist krna biasa produknya ga aneh2 dan gentle. Setelah searching2 rekomendasi facial wash utk kulit berminyak, salah satunya ini dan akhirnya coba utk beli dan awalnya ga expect kemasannya lmyan gede hahaha sbnrnya uda lama tau brand ini, mamaku jg pake serumnya dan emg sebagus itu. Pengalamanku pakai ini skitar 1 bulanan, ga ad mslah dan lembab aj gt stlah cuci muka tp makin kesni bbrp kali ada rasa sdkit ktarik dan hrs cpt2 pake toner (tp ya di Eropa udara kering krna kelembabannya rendah). Facial wash ini bntuknya gel bening, ga prlu dipake bnyk uda ckup ngebersihin, busanya ga bnyk dan baunya ga strong. Harganya memang ckup pricey tp dgn kemasan sgitu yaa msh oke sih, aku mw lanjutin pakai sampai habis dlu dan bru mutusin purchase lg apa ga hehehe

setelah cocok banget sama mask nya akhirnya aku beli ini. tekstur nya ringal banget, jelly jelly bening. dia baguss untuk sensitive skin kayak aku dan gak ada efek ketarik setelah cuci muka..rasanya bersiih banget bebas dari minyak dan jerawat cepet kering.hehe

cleanser ini aku beli karena dikasi tau bagus untuk muka oily , jd pertama beli karena hanya ingin coba saja . Untuk teksturnya lembut n gely halus yang tdk begitu pekat , wanginya juga tdk terlalu menyengat , jd pemakaian full habis cocok2 saja di aku .. untuk cleanser biar ga jerawat ini tdk ampuh. ^^

Awalnya beli yg travel size mau cobain dlu takutnya ga cocok, eh tapi setelah pemakaian langsung suka banget. Dia ga bkin keset dan kering malah berasa lembab dan kenyal stlh cuci muka, apalagi muka yg lagi jerawatan segede gaban pun no worries. Walau harganya mahal tp worth it to buy and try siih.
